FUNDING OPTIONS EXPLAINED:
(1) Mental Health Care Plans
All of our clinicians are Medicare providers. This means that, with a referral from your GP and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), Medicare will reimburse you for part of the cost of your session. You will need to pay the full standard consultation fee upfront on the day of the appointment. Medicare rebates can be processed immediately by us, so funds will be returned to your bank account (usually by the following business day). Currently, eligible individuals can access up to 10 consultations per calendar year (6 initially, followed by a further 4).

To access the Medicare rebate to see one of our practitioners, your GP needs to provide you with two documents:
-
A referral letter addressed to Two Minds Clinical Practice, and
-
A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)

(2) National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Two Minds Clinical Practice can also accept referrals for those with NDIS funding for psychology, occupational therapy, and counselling sessions. Any practitioner at Two Minds Clinical Practice can offer allied health services for those with self-managed or plan managed NDIS funding. We are not an NDIA registered provider, however one of our practitioners (Dane Cohen) can see NDIA managed individuals.
Fees for NDIS services are based on the NDIS Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits (www.ndis.gov.au).

(3) Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
Two Minds Clinical Practice can provide psychological services to Veteran Card holders. Clients require a referral from their GP or a medical specialist. A referral to an allied health provider will last up to 12 sessions or 1 year (whichever ends first). Further treatment can be accessed with a new referral, and clients can access as many treatment cycles as their GP determines are clinically necessary.
Fees for DVA services are based on the DVA Schedule of Fees. There is no out-of-pocket cost for clients accessing these services.

(4) NSW Victims Services
Some of the practitioners at Two Minds Clinical Practice are approved counsellors with NSW Victims Services, and can provide treatment to individuals with the appropriate funding.

(5) NSW Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation
Dane Cohen (registered psychologist) has obtained approval from the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) to provide psychological services under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme. This counselling service is designed to assist individuals to recover from any mental health concerns resulting from work-related incidents, and/or for people who have been involved in a motor vehicle accident.

(6) Private Health Insurance
Many private health funds offer payment towards psychological services with registered counsellors and/or psychologists. This is dependent on the insurer and level of cover.

(7) Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Two Minds Clinical Practice has been contracted to provide confidential counselling for personal and work-related concerns to employees of REDInc. Employees may contact our administration team directly to enquire about this program and arrange a consultation.
